Description

"Contra" is the title awarded to those few but brave and elite warriors with an indomitable fighting spirit and superior guerrilla tactics. Being an elite commando in a marine expeditionary takes a special breed of hero. You need the cunning of a lion, the spirit of a viking warrior, and the intelligence of a modern-day field general. It just so happens that United States marines Lance Bean and Bill Rizer possess such qualities to be a part of the Special Operations Task Unit: Contra Force. They are tough as nails, strong, bold, daring, but it is only after these qualities are soaked into their souls they can stand a chance at saving humanity from the inhumane Red Falcon. Against them stands a legion of Red Falcon's dreaded Troopers; cyborgs, clones, brainwashed New Zealand militia, and God only knows how many alien and cybernetic horrors the organization has in store for them. Their best chance at surviving: shoot fast, shoot first, and improve their firearms from Red Falcon Power Blimps, which will convert their standard issue rifles with all manner of amazing and terrifying weapons, from machine guns, to lasers, flamethowers, claymores, and the hyper-destructive spread gun, which will turn their plasma bullets into a rapidly advancing wall of alien death.
