The Underground (Sonic The Hedgehog)

I felt like drawing the residents of the Sol Dimension version of Mobius, following the members of The Underground, a prominent Freedom Fighter cell that also functions as a rock band, resisting the overlord, Dr. Thelonius Edward Robotnik, also known as Eggman Nega outside of this realm. 

Blaze the Cat~ The "guitar" of the group. Born onto the King and Queen of the Flame Paws, her birth name was Princess Oliga Light. However, after Aleena revealed the Oracle's prophecy to her parents, they left her at a commoner's doorstep, if only to keep their darling baby away from Eggman Nega's clutches. The doorstep she was left on belonged to Gregory and Marsha White, a mobian couple that didn't have much, but had enough, and were content with their lives. They were shocked, and even terrified that the crying baby that was left to them had out-of-control fire powers. However, they grew fond of the baby fast, and realized that she couldn't control the powers right now, and that despite her powers, she should have the same care and experience any child should have. So, they loved her, and raised her as their own, naming her "Blaze," after her fire powers, as she grew up into a well-adjusted child. However, one day, her family was taken captive by SWAT-Bots, due to their relations with the Resistance, and her home was burned, with the only thing salvaged being her, who hid during the attack. Since that day, Blaze never stopped blaming herself for what happened. Afterwards. she lived with her adoptive Uncle Charles, and he taught her the ways of a Freedom Fighter. However, one day, she is confronted by a mysterious figure, claiming to be an "Oracle," who tells her of her past, and tells her to find two hedgehogs named Manic and Sonia, with who she would forma new branch of Freedom Fighting with. She soon meets the twins, and such as her parents gave their undying loyalty to Aleena, she does the same for them, becoming a surrogate sister to the pair, and vowing to always protect them. Like her new siblings. her goal is to find Aleena and her parents, and keep each Sol Emerald she and her siblings find safe. You never know when you may need them. Later on in life, she meets Nicholas Parlouzer, better known as Sonic the Hedgehog, and discovers that he is Manic and Sonia's dimensional relative!

Sonia the Hedgehog~ The "piano" of the group. Born unto Queen Aleena of the Utopian Souls, her birth name was Petunia Parlouzer. (Her mother nicknamed her "Poppy.") However, due to the prophecy set in stone by the Oracle, her mother had to give her up. Like her brother, her mother dropped her off at the home of an aristocrat, to avoid Eggman Nega's suspicions. She was found by Lady Windimire the Poodle, who took the small baby as her own, and with no note, she re-named the child "Sonia." Sonia probably had the least eventful childhood of the initial trio, living as a wealthy, young woman, under the strict, but loving parenting of her adoptive mother. However, when the Oracle came to her home, telling her the truth of her past, and tells her to find Manic, her brother, and Blaze, her soon-to-be-surrogate sister, she had to choose between the life she lived now, or the life that would let her be with her true family. Ultimately, she decided to follow Manic and Blaze, in order to stop Eggman Nega, find her mother, find Blaze's parents, and restore power to the throne. Though, nothing wrong with also collecting those pretty gems that Blaze calls the "Sol Emeralds." Maybe once all is said and done, Blaze may allow her to fashion them into some nifty jewelry. Later on in life, she would meet Nicholas Parlouzer, better known as Sonic the Hedgehog, and learns that he's her dimensional brother!

Manic the Hedgehog~ The "drums" of the group. Born unto Queen Aleena of the Utopian Souls, his birth name was Jack Parlouzer. However, due to the prophecy set in stone by the Oracle, his mother had to give him up. Similar to his sister, he was placed on the doorstep of a wealthy aristocrat. However, one of the members of the Beginnings of Freedom, a team of Freedom Fighters led by Micheal the Hybrid, as well as the very first team of Freedom Fighters, had found him and taken him before the aristocrat would even have a chance to see who was at her door. The member gave the green, baby hedgehog to Ferrell the Cricket, Micheal's second in command. Ferrell raised him as his own, naming him "Manic," and teaching him the ways of the thief. Manic had gained kleptomania early in his youth, and unfortunately, never had a clue as to what normal life is like, having always lived beneath the surface of society. (Figuratively, not literally... maybe.) However, he was a happy, little camper, and always loved the songs and dances taught to him by "Uncle Micheal." He even wished to play in a band of his own one day. However, when the Oracle reveals to him his true, sordid past, and tells him to find Sonia and Blaze, he gives up the life of thievery to follow the path that his sister and surrogate sister follows. It's what the Beginnings of Freedom and what Ferrell would want, right? Like the other two, his goal is simple: find "Ma," get Blaze back with her parents, find the Sol Emeralds (which shouldn't be hard for a thief like him,) and take down Eggman Nega. Later on in life, he would meet Nicholas Parlouzer, better known as Sonic the Hedgehog, and discover that he's his dimensional brother. ("Finally! I was beginning to get tired of being the only guy.")

Silver the Hedgehog~ The "microphone" of the group. The orphan of the group who never knew his family, the only birth name he has ever known is "Venice", Silver is idealistic, headstrong, and more than a bit naive. His one true desire is a place where people can be happy and free from harm, but he's pretty rash and quick to make judgments without all of the details. Like Knuckles, he's quick to believe whatever people tell him to achieve his goals. Silver is still a kindhearted person though and always has everyone's best interests at heart. Out of everyone else in the initial trio, his childhood is the most traumatic. Silver was raised by his lonesome possessing semi-controllable psychic powers, having him being raised and trained to harness his potential by an order of psychic monks. Sometimes, when he's really trying to focus on saving the world, he can get really impatient, and tends to lose all his respect for other people. When the group finally meets Nicky Parlouzer (AKA: Sonic The Hedgehog), he is the person that trusts him the least.
